Disney Day Three: Animal Kingdom!!

Tuesday morning was a beautiful, sunny day and we spent it at Animal Kingdom. We started off the morning with the Safari ride. The kids loved it!! We got to see all kinds of animals who were so close to our jeep. Next, the grownups went to ride Expedition Everest while Grammie and Granddaddy stayed with the little ones. I debated taking Anna Caitlin to ride, but am so glad that we did not...she would have been terrified! Now, I love roller coasters, but I DID NOT like Expedition Everest. It was too jerky and unpredictable for me.



Next, we were went to see The Lion King show. It was fabulous!! We had never seen it before, but we all really enjoyed it. The music and dancing were very entertaining. On our way to see It's A Bug's Life, we ran into the characters from The Jungle Book and stopped in for a quick picture. Grammie was not a fan of It's A Bug's Life and jumped about 20 feet in the air when the bugs run along the back of the seats!



We ate lunch at a really good place where they served BBQ chicken and ribs. It was probably one of the better meals that we had there, and eating outside was nice.

After, we went to ride Kali Rapid Rivers, which was very similar to Thunder River at Six Flags. All of the boys cheated and took off their shoes and shirts so they would not have to be wet all day. Me and Anna Caitlin were in the WRONG seats! We went down the falls backwards and got SOAKED! Drew thought it was hilarious. The kids really enjoyed that ride.



We ended our day in Dino Land. The kiddos really liked the ride where the dinosaurs go in a circle. We finished up riding Dinosaur, which was really fun. So surprised that the kids did not get scared, but they enjoyed it.



We got to end the day a little bit early and let the kiddos go back to the hotel to swim in the pool for the afternoon. Then we ordered pizza and went to bed early. A very fun day!!
