On February 27, Anna Caitlin turned 8 years old. I cannot believe how fast the time flies by. I remember when I thought that she would be in daycare forever...now she is almost halfway finished with elementary school. I would freeze time right now if I could...she is such a fun age!
Over the past year, Anna Caitlin finished the first grade and started second grade. She loves to dance and has taken tap, ballet, and jazz. She also tried out horseback riding, which she really enjoyed. She LOVES to read...she has read all of the Junie B Jones books, and has recently begun reading the Fudge books and the Babysitters Club books... those books bring back lots of memories from when I was her age!
Anna Caitlin is an excellent student and makes awesome grades. Her favorite thing to do is probably watch TV and her favorite shows are Shake It Up, Toddlers and Tiarras, and Dancing with the Stars. She also loves to play outside and ride her bike; she especially loves to camp and to swim :)
Anna Caitlin is very sweet and easy to get along with. She is a good friend to everyone. Her best friends are Brenley, Sarah, and Natalie. Even though she is getting older, she still loves to cuddle each morning and spend time with her family. I am so very blessed to have been chosen as her mother.
This year, we had two parties to celebrate Anna Caitlin's birthday. One for the family and family friends, and one with her friends from school. She decided she wanted to do her family party with a dance theme.
As usual, Ms. Vivian did an awesome job with the cake and cupcakes!!
I cannot believe that my sweet princess already has 8 candles on that cake. I am enjoying every single moment of her childhood!!
