Hayworth Happenings: April Birthday Boys!!

Both of my sweet little boys celebrate their birthdays in April. They were both born the Friday of Spring Break, just a couple of years apart. I cannot believe how quickly they are growing up!

Drewsey, I cannot believe you are turning 6 years old. That sounds so grown up to me. You have had an incredible year in Kindergarten. You are reading so well and you love to find signs and menus and read them to us :) I cannot believe how much your handwriting and coloring has improved. And your teachers just adore you. You are always smiling and making us laugh.

Your love is still video games. You love to play both the DS and the Wii, and are really beginning to enjoy playing the sports games on those. You also have a new found love for baseball. You will put on your uniform and come downstairs to watch whoever is playing on ESPN. You have done really well in Spring Ball and are looking forward to playing again in the Fall. You can now ride your bike with no trainning wheels and you absolutely LOVE to play kickball with your friends. Your favorite TV shows are Looney Tunes and Scooby Doo. Your favorite foods are cheese dip, mashed potatoes and gravy, meatloaf, and fried chicken...a boy after my own heart!

I am so very proud of my sweet natured little boy who has a heart of gold. You melt my heart everyday with your hugs and kisses and I love you more than you will ever know.

We celebrated your birthday at your very favorite place to go...La Parilla. As a matter of fact, you have let us know that you would like to work there when you grow up ;)

And my sweet little Joshie Bear just turned three! Three sounds so much bigger than two. Joshua, you have grown so much this year. Your vocabulary has exploded and you speak better than most 4 year olds I know. You are sweet and loving, but you HATE the word no. You can pitch a tantrum like I have never seen when you hear that word. You also have quite a stubborn streak in you and like to do what you want to do. Your beautiful smile and dimples melt my heart and you give the best hugs!!

You love to dance and listen to music. Your favorite song is "The Airplane Song" aka "I'll Fly Away." You really enjoy playing with puzzles, cars, and trucks. You would play outside all day if we would let you, and you cry when you have to come in. You love to play baseball, ride your John Deere tractor, and camp. Your favorite shows to watch are Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Little Einsteins, and Dora the Explorer. You love to snack all day long and your favorite things to eat are gummies, yogurt, and fruit. You are definitely my healthiest eater :)

This year, we celebrated your birthdays at the Seven Hills Playground. We had Rolling Video Games come for Drew and had the playground for Joshua. It was so much fun celebrating with our friends and family!

Drew wanted a Mario and Sonic theme and Joshua wanted a John Deere Tractor theme. Of course, Ms. Vivian made the cutest cakes ever! Everyone had a blast celebrating!!
