We went to see Disney on Ice Friday night with Grammie, Granddaddy, Aunt Shanna, Uncle Brent, Macenzie, and Abbie. It was Drew's very first "kid show" and he absolutely LOVED it!! As soon as Mickey and Minnie came out on stage, he broke out in a huge smile, clapping, saying "Mickey skatin', Mommy, Mickey skatin'!!" It was so much fun to watch. He also loved the Cars part... "Look, there Lightnin' Queen!!"
Anna Caitlin was a little more hesitant at first. For all of those who know her well, you know she has a HUGE fear of characters when she cannot see their face. The last time we went to Disney World, she took off running in the opposite direction when her path crossed with Tigger. She also hates Chuck E Cheese. So, when Mickey and the gang came out on stage, she begged to leave or go sit on the top row. Once we finally convinced her that the characters could not get off the ice, she calmed down and really enjoyed the rest of the show. The last time Mickey came out, she said "Mommy, I'm not scared anymore. We can go back to Disney World now!!" We may test that theory a little bit more before we plan our next trip!
