Halloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. Mama Judi took both kiddos to pick out their own Halloween costumes. For months, Drew had been telling us "I be a big black monster, rarh!!" So, we get to the store, and they do not have any big black monsters. What else would he pick out but the Incredible Hulk. We talked him into being something a little "friendlier" since I know that we will have many Halloweens to come when we do not have as much say. Drew was Woody from Toy Story. He ran around saying "I a cowboy, yee-haw!!!" So cute.

This is the first year that Anna Caitlin has strayed away from being a princess. Well, she did not stray too far. It came down to Barbie or Tinkerbell, and she decided to go with Tinkerbell. Her Grammie made her adoption doll, Allie Kate, her own Halloween costume so she could go trick or treating with us. Thanks Grammie!!

We went trick or treating for a little while around the neighborhood. Last year, Drew thought he had to trade candy at each door, so they would give him a new piece of candy and he would take one out of his own bag and put it back in their candy dish. This year, he got the concept alot more. The more candy, the better!! After trick or treating, we went to the Fall Festival at church where they both had a great time on the hay ride and jumping/sliding!!
