Well, after you reach 30, you just don't look forward to birthdays like you once did. I cannot believe that I am turning 33. That makes me feel SO old! I have now been out of high school for more years than it took for me to complete Kindergarten through 12th grade. Now that is frightening!
The good news is that I have the best hubby and children in the world who make all birthday celebrations fun! My sweet husband took me to eat dinner at Chops on Friday night. It was so nice to have a date and "grown up" conversation! Thanks to Grammie and Granddaddy for watching the kiddos. We then went back to Mom and Dad's house where we had cookie cake...yummy... and opened presents. My sweet family gave me a Wii Fit.
On Sunday night we celebrated with Mom for her birthday too. We went to eat at Sapporo for a great meal! Mom and Dad gave me a beautiful Pandora bracelet. If I have to get older, at least I have the best family to celebrate with!!
